Having a deluxe AtH/roundtable discussion last episode it only made sense to completely ditch it this time and jump straight into the game. It's the Savage Lands, and things are afoot as the as-yet-unformed new Avengers investigate the whereabouts of Karl Lykos, also known as Sauron. It's not so simple however as SHIELD agents are apparently hiding a super-secret base that's up to no good...as usual. Enjoy!

Following hot on the heels of last episode's four-color action we continue the Breakout scenario from the new Marvel Heroic RPG. Wolverine and Iron Man team up for a four-issue limited series to track down escaped super-baddies from the Raft leaving Spider-Man and Captain America looking for reinforcements, which they find with the formerly imprisoned Living Laser? It's off to the Savage Lands this time, but first the heroes make a quick stop by the Baxter Building to "borrow" some equipment.

The Raft, a super-max prison run by S.H.I.E.L.D., is broken wide open and a mass escape of super-powered villains ensues. It's up to the likes of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America to contain this breakout and put the villains back behind bars.
