Hosts: Gyro, Biscuit, T-Bone, Americano, Chick-o-Sticks

It's the first game running Fantasy Flight's official rules for Deathwatch. This means lots of learning on the fly of course as none of our hosts read the rules prior to the game! Well, except for T-Bone, he was prepared. He even had a PowerPoint presentation.

Our heroes travel to a planet overrun by Tyranids. Their mission is to retrieve a valuable data core as well as the Mechanicus Magos who is protecting it before the planet is terminated under the Exterminatus doctrine. While they're dirtside they decide it's good to have goal and vow to also eliminate no less than eighty Tyranids before returning to base. While on the ground they assist an Imperial Guard commissar and also vow to get her off the planet.

  1. I think our new banner should be us as a hair metal band.

  2. Uhhh...dude...you weren't there!

Besides, none of us have hair anymore!

  3. True. There was a time when we both had shoulder-length hair. Those were the days!

  5. I thin kthe band banner is a great idea. If not a hair band, then why not a full-on Metalocalypse type metal band.

I'm sure Biscuit would make it shine!

Besides, if Jack Black can still manage to rock, none of us has any excuse not to.

  6. Any idea when the podcast will actually be up? I'm only finding up to episode 32 on the RSS feed.

  7. Yeah, umm, I think I found that missing post. It was this one, I wrote over it and forgot to make a new one, hence the episode 32 comments on an episode 33 post. Arrrgh...

  8. Thank you Minions for awesome shows, that save your fanbase from podcasting woes, and if a post is broke, we won't blame you blokes, we'll suck it up and listen, because new minion episodes always glisten.

Thanks for the shout-outs guys. Keep making the episodes

  9. I just finished the show and it was well worth the wait. I am really looking forward to more Death Watch episodes. I am liking how Space Marines are portrayed in the RPG much better than how they are represented in the 40K miniatures game. Keep up the great work!

    1. It's been a while since I listened to this one but I think I know what you're talking about. It was a rules discussion, or looking it up forever or something like that right? I think a simpler ruleset makes for better transparency among the players, thus eliminating the excruciatingly dead air that takes place while we're trying to figure out what the eff we're doing.

Of course, you could be talking something else entirely, so just ignore everything I just said!
